Yesterday was Dad's birthday. I'm doing what he wanted to do, travel the country. I can't think of a better tribute to him. Man, wish he was still here, I'd be like Dad, you're coming with -- I'm getting you a trailer and I'm going to pull you everywhere!
See everything you and Mom wanted to see - the West, the Southwest, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, The Great Sand Dunes, The Redwoods, The White Sands, Zion, Castle Valley, Rushmore, Glacier, Yellowstone, etc.
We love and miss you Dad - mostly the little things like the daily phone calls, your day-to-day work stories, all of your optimism that you had was contagious. You encouraged us when we needed it in your own special way. I've held my personal convictions to the best I can and its seen me through. Another day is special and I don't take anything for granted because of you. RIP Dad
